Mechanical Fitter | FIFO Brisbane to Alice Springs

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a change of scenery and a solid swing? We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team at a major gas processing facility near Alice Springs.

This is a specialized role focused on the service, maintenance, and repair of large-scale power generators. If you enjoy technical troubleshooting and working in the heart of the Red Centre, we want to hear from you.

The Role

• Location: Alice Springs (Gas Plant)

• FIFO: Direct from Brisbane

• Focus: Routine maintenance, major overhauls, and breakdown repairs on industrial gas and diesel generators.

• Tasks: Alignments, component replacement, cooling system maintenance, and ensuring peak operational efficiency.

What You Bring

• Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent.

• Specialized Experience: Proven track record working on large industrial generators (CAT, Cummins, or similar).

• Gas Plant Exposure: Prior experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial environments is highly regarded.

• Safety First Mentality: A commitment to strict HSE protocols and high-quality workmanship.

• Requirements: Must hold a current Driver’s License and be able to pass a pre-employment medical/DAS.
